Scott Tucker and Level 5 Motorsports is going to be going east to Connecticut next weekend for that 4th stop on the 2012 American Le Mans Series race schedule. The Lime Rock park circuit in Lakeville, CT. is the site for the 2012 American Le Mans Northeast Grand Prix as the series starts its northeast loop. The Level 5 power team will be searching for a replicate of past season’s lovely success when the Level 5 motorists Scott Tucker, Luis Diaz and Franck Montagny completed in 2nd place overall on the way to getting triumph in the P2 class.

This season Level 5 shall be running only two vehicles at Lime Rock Park, the #95 HPD ARX-03b and the #055 HPD ARX-03b. Scott Tucker will be sharing driving duties with Luis Diaz in the #95 and with Christophe Bouchut in the #055. The Level 5 team will be wanting to resume winning ways following the long break in June. The ALMS schedule typically requires a break in June so that they can support the competitors that make the trip across the Atlantic to France for the 24 Hours of Le Mans race.

The 3rd race of the 2012 ALMS season was the American Le Mans Monterey back in The middle of May which in turn confirmed to be successful for the Level 5 team. Their #95 HPD ARX-03b emerged home in 2nd place over-all which was good enough to document a victory in the P2 class. The race for the P2 team championship is rather tight this season. The victory in Monterey helped Level 5 keep their lead on top of the standings. Following 3 events Level 5 currently have 66 points, Fourteen points ahead of Conquest Endurance. The competition for the championship appears set to go down to the line this year.
